Printing with OST

How To Print Images

Two dialogs will appear in succession when printing an image.

· Select File > Print, hit Ctrl + P or click the Print icon to access the Print window

· Select the desired view (current view, current page, etc.) and the Image Range at the Print window

· Choosing Current Page will print only the current page you are viewing in its entirety

· Choosing Current View will print the current page you are viewing but will also only print the area of the page that you are zoomed in on

· Choose the Size you wish to print the page out on. In some instances you may wish to increase or decrease the size of the page in order to work with your printer size. Be aware that any change to the size will effect the scale of the output from the printer

· If you wish to Print To Scale you must print in Full Size. This will print the image out in the same scale that it was brought in as an electronic drawing. NOTE: In some cases a drawing may not have been scanned or plotted correctly. One can not assume that a drawing is of scale because it says so. Try using the Dimension Tool to determine if the scale is correct. This can prevent errors in your quantity calculations solely due to inaccurate scale set

· Select whether you wish to include a footer (timestamp, project name, etc)

· Click the Print icon again at the Print window to begin printing
